Monthly meeting of Steering Group - Thursday 1st August, 7 til 9 pm, Kingston Maurward College
Do you cycle in Stinsford? Would you like to, but something puts you off? Tuesday 6th August, 6 pm. Meet (with your bike) at Lower Bockhampton playing field, DT2 8PZ. All cyclists welcome, young and old, experienced and otherwise, on a short, gentle ride with Theo Hawkins and George Armstrong. We'll have stops to chat about our cycling experiences in the Parish as well as discussion on how cycling fits in with the wider objectives of the Neighbourhood Plan. We'll end with refreshments in Lower Bockhampton. The route mainly avoids public roads and is based around the Kingston Maurward estate. Approx 1.5 hours (less than 30 mins actual cycling). Wildlife in Stinsford parish, with Mitch Stone - Saturday 10th August, 1.45 for 2 pm, meet at Pine Lodge Tea Rooms DT2 8QL (parking available). A walk of up to 3 hours, with shorter options available. Come prepared for wet and rough ground, and clothing for the English summer!
